About Xenon
Xenon is a macOS app that lives in your notch and remembers every screenshot and copy you make. Hover the notch and your most recent captures are right there; tap right ⌘ twice and your full history opens, grouped by day, with on-device OCR search that reads the text inside every screenshot.
It was built by Ashish Gogula, a solo developer, to solve his own problem: screenshots and copied text that vanish into Finder the moment you look away, then take five minutes to dig back up when you need them again.
Xenon is a native AppKit binary with no Electron and no bundled browser runtime. It idles at 0.0% CPU, uses around 40MB of memory, and never requests Screen Recording permission because it only captures what you deliberately screenshot or copy.
Everything Xenon remembers stays on your Mac. There is no account, no sync, and no server it talks to. One purchase, $19, covers every update forever.
